McCain: - Liberals waving the while flag of surrender
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 06:23 PM by lamprey
Hillary: We have to move forward. The Iraqi government is dysfunctional. By beginning to pull out, we pressure them to put their own house in order We should not write a blank check to continue this stalemate.

Obama. I opposed this war from the beginning. It was a dumb misadventure that should never have been authorized in the first place. Five years later, it's time to set a date for withdrawal. We must end the war. Inside Iraq, their civil war will end only when warring factions reach a settlement.

Obama's argument is easier to sell.

1. Well, I think all Dems can agree that he can go fuck himself!
Nobody wants to surrender, McCain.

We just don't want to be in a endless war with no hope in sight.

15. Well, when you talked about how much longer he could live, I didn't think that was ideas.
I certainly don't disagree that his attitude and ideas are old. But when you talk about how much longer he could live, I am sure you understand that most would take that as a biological age comment. Pretty f'ing straightforward, in fact.

17. Do you know where my car keys are?
No offense intended, my good friend.

I get more gotcha moments in my own life every day than I need.

And to think, in 1974 those moments usually had something to do with a bong and Led Zeppelin.

And he has had four heart attacks and been bombed in Afghanistan. Proof once again: evil lives forever.

3. What surrender?
Nice talking point but it doesn't pass the smell test. If our mission was to get rid of Saddam, we won. If our mission was to install a democracy, we won.

So where does this white flag crap come from. Leaving a war we "won" is not surrender.

13. Even the whole
idea that Al Qaeda will somehow rise and takeover Iraq is bogus. BOth the Sunni and the Shia hate Al Qaeda and are doing a pretty good job of fighting few that exist there. They don't need us for that.

There really isn't any rational justification for staying there except that the Republicans need something to use to keep the fear level up.

We won.

14. God I can't tolerate McCain, why would folks even show up at his
rally to cheer on such doom and gloom talk about endless wars, I swear America has quite a few nutty folks out there. And I don't understand how a man like McCain who has seen the horrors of war up close, would love it so much now unless he is truly one sick man
