5. absentee votes are often the first counted
many of these votes were cast when Edwards was still in the race.

They list the top two and I was surprised to see Edwards running second. He's now faded to 9%. I guess it was early voting but it shows how well Edwards could have done if he stayed in.

Edwarsd is at 9% in TN. His best states are Alabama (16%) and Missouri (15%) so far.
