Tim Kaine most likely Obama VP - Leaves VA gov. in 2009
Then Kaines Lt. Gov. takes over and runs as an incumbent governor in 2009.

Perfect.

Kaine is southern male and would deliver the swing state of VA.

Just my thoughts, but pretty obvious to me. None of the current Senators would be good. Kaine is a great campaigner too. Richardson would be on the short list too, although he proved to be less than a stellar speechifier. Think it's between Kaine, Richardson and Edwards in that order.

I'm only bringing this up today because the odds are now that Obama wins the next several primaries and causcuses in a row and walks off with the whole enchilada.

1. I've been calling an Obama/Richardson ticket for, like, a year now...
so I might as well stick to my guns. Though a Kaine VP slot is a good call too!

2. This may be why Richardson won't endorse Clinton
He wants to keep his options open if Obama were to win the nomination. If he endorsed Clinton and she losses, he'd pretty much be shit out of luck.
