Who will have a difficult time accepting a Clinton victory?
I mean one that she legitimately wins without the manipulatoon of the Super delegates? And vice-versa, who will have a difficult time accepting an Obama victory. Personally, I can accept either one as a great nominee of our party. I do not understand all this hatred and talk of cults and nominal negativities. There is no doubt in my mind that politics brings out the very worst in people - especially once they have something invested in that candidate.

1. I had no trouble accepting the first Clinton victory. I think I can handle another one.

2. I will vote for either, regardless. Whether or not I campaign will depend on how successful I am at
giving Hillary the "Kerry treatment".

I will do my best to warm up to her. Failing that, I may just vote for her without campaigning much.

8. that's a perfectly acceptable position
I felt the same way about John Kerry, since I was a very enthusiastic Dean supporter. Now I am an enthusiastic Clinton supporter. If Obama wins I'll vote for him because he is better than McCain but I won't be real excited about it.

6. Count me in that group
It will be very hard for me to vote for Hillary because of the war.

10. The only way anyone will have problems accepting...
...any victory--is if that victory is achieved by unfair or underhanded ways.

One of our candidates will get the most delegates. Then, the Super Delegates will
fall in line to throw their support for the candidate who won the most delegates.

Anything short of that is an unfair win, and a slap in the face to the will of
"We The People".

Play fair. Play by the rules, and we will have party unity--to matter who the nominee is.

Fuck with us, and you will have a shredded party, in torn tatters--and complete and total
chaos in our party---and a Republican administration in a year that the Dems should have
blown them out and down the block.

12. The media/their owners will be crushed. All Dems will be OK with either, extatic with both.

13. Whoever wins the most delegates

selected by the people will get my full support.

However, if the superdelegates go against the will of the people, I will no longer be a Democrat.

It is unfortunate that CNN has been gaming the system by lumping in pledged superdelegates (which can be changed) with the regular/popular delegates. The un-pledged superdelegates will look at those numbers and feel justified to vote for whoever has the greatest total delegate sum, rather than who has the most popular delegates.

14. Screw this
"reaching across the aisle bullshit"...I want a DEM Senate (at least 60%), a continuing majority in the house, AND a DEM in the White House. I will vote enthusiastically for and support either or/both of our candidates without batting an eye. I like both of them, and if they suddenly grew horns and a tail we would still be a hell of lot better off than what we have endured for way to long. Our country is way overdue for some Democratic platforms.
