House Panel Backs Bush on Further Tax Cuts:This is how we take back House!
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/03/17/politics/17CND-BUDG.html?hp=&pagewanted=print&position=

WASHINGTON, March 17 — The House Budget Committee handed President Bush a victory today when it endorsed his push for further tax cuts.

The panel approved a bill that would require lawmakers to hold down increases in spending in future years, yet leave them free to extend the tax reductions that the president has been able to push through Congress.

The committee's action was a setback for Democrats, who have argued that the White House-inspired tax cuts are the real reason for the ballooning federal budget deficits.

If the full House should go along with the budget panel's stance, the House would be at odds with the Senate, even though both chambers are controlled by Republicans. Action in the full House was possible before nightfall and would foreshadow more negotiations between the House and Senate, Democrats and Republicans, White House and Capitol Hill.

it appear Bush's tax cuts for the corporate rich were good for the economy...Bush and Rove are going to fight with this bullshit lie, all the way to the election...no matter what shape the economy is in...they are going to say tax cuts are good for the poor and the economy, over and over again...BULLSHIT!!! But what else can they run on, (besides promoting fear and terrorism) they have to keep the lie going and they will!

This is how they plan to drown in the bath tub any spending other than for defense!

5. Extending tax cuts for those making over $200,000 makes them greedy!
These tax cuts for the wealthy will be paid for with monies you pay into social security and medicare--your money--plain and simple. This is unconscionable with our massive deficits with the retirement of the baby boomers looming on the horizon!

7. Last Bush tax cut passed in May, 2003. As Bush himself, once tried to say
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!
