Kerry's Winning Campaign Theme Should Be..
to announce that everyday leading up to the general election he will expose a different instance of how bushco has mislead and manipulated the American people. That would be a dynamite theme. Everytime the media covers Kerry they would be forced to report the different lie and or distortion by Bushco.

3. And, the added benefit is, it would keep them off balance..
wondering what the next attack will be and how to respond.

6. What to call it?
I like the idea! What might it be called -- The Daily Scam? The Daily Distortion? Today's Misleader?

If Kerry doesn't do it, somebody with a well-read blog should.

7. Kerry has to do it. He called them liars and crooks...
They howled in unison. Kerry can not only win, but take back congress too when he gets through with them.

8. Tune In For Bush's "Lie O'The Day"
Edited on Thu Mar-18-04 12:22 PM by cryingshame
featuring one blatant Lie told by Bush or his Administration per day.

Great Idea!

Reminds me of Clark's Word of the Day.

9. nothing wrong w/ highlighting bushco's manipulations,
but it definately is not a "winning" campaign theme. he needs to run on why he should be president and it has to involve a positive message.

12. "Campaign theme" is not the right term. You're right..
:D Kerry does need to concentrate on his own policy positions. But he also needs to define Bush. And do so in a way that is catchy. That would make it a "theme," Though not a "campaign theme." Bush is a disingenuous, smirking liar. He need to point that out.

10. As I posted in GD - It's about credibility, stupid!
Kerry needs to expose all the lies from NCLB to clear skies, to healthy forests, to the cost of medicare.

13. Just Had an Idea
Send this to the new liberal radio network, Air America.

I'm sure any one of the hosts would be willing to feature it. When the network launches, it will get a lot of press (I hope). Heck, they could announce a lie at the top of each hour and still not run out by November.

14. kick . . . anybody with the Kerry campaign listening? . . .
matter of fact, it would be a great idea for the Kerry campaign to assign someone to monitor DU on a daily basis and to report back the best ideas, insights, and suggestions to the top level decision-makers . . . lots of great stuff here, and they should be aware of it . . .
