Poll question: Will Hillary Clinton play the terra card before this is over?
This question is not merely intended to get Hillary supporters to call me names, it's also a serious question about how far you think she might go.

From the get-go, from rigged questions from planted questioners, Hillary Clinton has been playing the Chimp's dirty cards.

Is she going to play the terra card within the next week?

3. I don't think so. Even though she's made some questionable calls recently,
she's too smart for that.

16. She's done it several times already. "Hillary ready, Obama reckless"
after the Bhutto assassination comes to mind, but there was also a campaign "theme" that she would be readier to fight terrists than Obama because he's in league with them. That's what the whole "ready from day 1" thing evolved from.

22. she has done this and she`s been called on it
"Sen. Christopher J. Dodd (D-Conn.) called Clinton's remarks "tasteless."

"Richardson said in a statement. "Senator Clinton seems to think that President Bush has made this country safer. I disagree with her. Our failed policy in Iraq is making us less safe. Our ports are less safe. Our cities are less safe. Our transportation systems are less safe."

what did obama say?

"Advisers to Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) declined to comment"

26. Unfortunately, she already did that. It was my first big "uh oh" moment about her.
Early in the "ready for day one" theme, she mentioned the London attacks when Gordon Brown just stepped into office.
"unexpected catastrophes can happen, and you have to be ready from day one to deal with things like that" to paraphrase.
This was shortly after Iowa, and the clear inference was to Edwards and Obama being unready.

I was watching on c-span, and DUing as usual....screeech...the sound of my brain stopping. "Did she just go there?" --- so I backed up the dvr buffer, and sure enough, Ms Prophet and I both said a variation on, "I can't believe she just did a Cheney!"

After reading the links above, I now realize she had done it before that.
Good to know.

Man, the respect I had for her ability to run a tight campaign is now just tattered.
I think I tried to hard to be even handed about it.
It's kind of embarrassing.

28. You mean she hasn't already?
I thought that was her motivation for trying to paint Obama as a radical muslim intent on doing this country harm.

December 10, 2007
Third Clinton Volunteer Knew Of Smear E-Mail

A third volunteer for Hillary Clinton's campaign was aware of a propaganda e-mail alleging that Barack Obama is a Muslim who plans on "destroying the U.S. from the inside out."

"Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential Candidacy," the email reads. "Please forward to everyone you know. The Muslims have said they Plan on destroying the U.S. from the inside out, what better way to start than at The highest level."

Two Clinton volunteers, Linda Olson and Judy Rose, have already been asked to resign from the campaign for their roles in forwarding the e-mail.
The AP reported yesterday that Olson, a volunteer coordinator in Iowa County, sent a version of the e-mail to 11 people, including Ben Young, a regional field director for Chris Dodd's campaign. Young passed it on to the AP.

30. Before this is over? She did it today:
"To a packed auditorium at George Washington University, Clinton seemed to imply Obama's lack of foreign policy credentials might mean he'd be a Democratic version of President Bush.

"We've seen the tragic result of having a president who had neither the experience nor the wisdom to manage our foreign policy and safeguard our national security," she said. "We can't let that happen again." "

40. She did in New Hampshire!
Remember when she cried in the diner? Right after the tears, she launched into an attack on Edwards and Obama saying that it was a dangerous world and that she, and she alone, was best qualified to be commander-in-chief. She said that Al-Qaeda was following the primary, and that they were planning to attack the US just as they did the UK after Gordon Brown became PM.

43. Done...
Stephanie Miller just played a sound bite -- recorded in Ohio, I believe -- where Hillary said that we've seen the results of having someone inexperienced and using poor judgement in protecting our national security, and "we can't make that mistake again."

She sickens me. She really does.
