ARG Wisconsin--Kerry 46, Bush 43, Nader 4%
Edited on Fri Mar-26-04 02:55 PM by Kathleen04
"A total of 4% of likely voters say they would vote for Ralph Nader and 7% of likely voters are undecided.

Without Ralph Nader on the ballot, Kerry leads Bush 48% to 44%, with 8% of likely voters undecided."

7. but
more than 3 times as many Democrats are voting for Bush as say they are voting for Nader--7% of Dems say they are voting for Bush compared to 2% who are voting for Nader, so while Nader is no help he isn't to blame for those dems who vote for Bush.

2. Favorables and unfavorables are the real story...
"A total of 85% of Republicans say they have a favorable opinion of Bush and 88% of Democrats say they have an unfavorable opinion of Bush.

A total of 86% of Democrats say they have a favorable opinion of Kerry and 50% of Republicans have an unfavorable opinion of Kerry.

A total of 88% of Republicans and 75% of Democrats have an unfavorable opinion of Nader."

So ~85% of Democrats are unfavorable towards Bush, but only ~50% of Republicans are unfavorable towards Kerry.

It's also funny (but not particularly surprising) that more Republicans are favorable towards Nader than Democrats. The joys of the winner-take-all system, eh?

More Republicans than Democrats have an UNFAVORABLE opinion of Nader.

88% Republicans have an unfavorable opinion to 75% of Democrats having an unfavorable opinion..

5. I wonder how many of those 4%
will actually be ABLE to vote for Nader.
He's not on the ballot in MANY states (and probably won't be)

It's not 2000 again. Relax.

6. Awesome
We now have about three or four different polls showing Kerry beating Bush both nationally and in several key swing states. I hope the freepers are crapping their pants about now. Their boy is going DOWN.
