My Republican father is making phone calls for Obama.
This is just getting stranger and stranger. My dad voted for Nixon 3 times. He voted for both Bushes. The only other Democrat he has voted for was Bill Clinton "the best Republican we've ever had." Now not only did he vote for Obama, but he has made calls to Texas for hours on three different days! He is 69 years old, and this is the 1st time that he has made call for *any* politician.

4. It's their strategy
They know darn well that America will not elect this man.
Don't flame me, bros - that's not my position, that's just my prediction.
The Pukes know this.
It's very difficult to imagine yet another Puke Pres, but that is indeed what we are looking at at this point.

5. He is getting the most votes, the republicans are bing out-voted,
but the country won't vote for him.

How illogical is that?

6. ...so later that same day..
I'm in a restaurant eating lunch.
In the next booth, a family comes in - looked like three generations represented: a grandfather (about 55 or so), his son (30ish), and probably the son's kids. They were white.
The grandfather says to his son : "so if Hillary doesn't get nominated, you are going for Mccain??"
"That's right", the son answers.
Real life, right next to me - barely an hour after I posted my original comment.
But let me share what I told my wife at that point.
If the polls show a possible Obama victory over McCain, look for McCain to come down with some kind of major illness forcing him to drop out of the race. Enter Romney or another mystery guest and away we go.
