While Tweet can be pretty apalling, he at least has criticized the boy king.

I know that Russert is not a commentator like Tweet, buy I've seen him on talk shows where he is just talking, and well, he's always covering shrub's ass.

he flops back and forth with the latest TV ratings. It's not just whoring for the RNC, it's whoring for ratings.

Also, Tweety voted for shrub; we don't know what Russert did.

The schizophrenic Tweety, has at least, criticized the Iraq war, on occasion--when he was not cheerleading for the war and drooling over Dubya's pooched up, flight deck crotch.

Russert has actual journalism skills and a presentable demeanor. If he actually came out as a Republican, he'd be much easier to stomach. Matthews is a mercenary hack and a grasping wannabe (and on TV he comes off like a speed-popping Archie Bunker talking through a bullhorn; he must be unbearable in person).

9. Tweety...

Russert asks questions and allows people to answer, he always brings in a bunch of usually out of context newspaper clips, but they're usually things that people have already taken out of context and it gives the guest a little bit of a chance to get it straight..

Tweety asks the same question 5 times and steps all over his guests answers...I find Tweety to be more irritating.

10. I wish I still had video...

...of election night 2000 during Florida's being up in the air, and Russert was using his (now in the Smithsonian) whiteboard. It was amazing watching it, how we described the vote totals, "with Florida *frown* in his column, Vice President Gore would win the presidency. With Florida in HIS column, Governor Bush *eyes shining, teeth bared* would become President." It was fascinating, the complete facial 180s he would do. Disgusting.
