Sen Clinton and the IWR
I was listening to Washington Journal on the way to work this am and I thought I heard one of the guests from Latinos for Texas say that Hillary has stated that her vote on the IWR was wrong. I'd like to know when Sen. Clinton said that - I've been waiting to hear her say that. I tried calling in - got thru a couple of times, my cell dropped the call, then the segment was over so I couldn't ask the guest (the woman) anyway.

I've watched debates and speeches, listened to them on POTUS08, watched lots of political coverage on CSPAN, CNN, MSNBC - but this was news to me. Just wondering when I missed this.

So - does anyone know if/when she said she was wrong ? Links would be appreciated.

1. Don't have a link but
when asked if there was a vote
she could take back, she answered
her IWR vote. Obama answered Schaivo.

2. She's said many times if she knew then what she knows now she wouldn't have voted the way she did.
And yet some people with their own agenda to push keep saying she never did.
here's alink to one of the many times she's said it:

4. Thanks. That was helpful
The primary is over in CT - and I will vote in the general for whomever wins the Dem nomination - but I feel better now that I've read this.

Appreciate it !

5. And naught for nothing, but here's something else of importance to know:
From her floor speech on the vote:

"A vote for it is not a vote to rush to war; it is a vote that puts awesome responsibility in the hands of our President and we say to him - use these powers wisely and as a last resort."

6. That is the clincher.
It states her intent in
her vote. That alone should
be enough to banish any mis-
givings anyone has about it but,
sadly, they ignore this fact.

7. Everyone knew what the vote was for. You had to be a complete moron to believe that busheney ....
would not take us to war.

She never apologized for her vote. "I regret my vote" is not an apology.

I regret several things I have done in life, but I don't apologize for all my regrets.

"Regret" just means you wish you wouldn't have done something, but you're not sorry for doing it.
