I'VE had it w/. MSNBC
I used to like Mika. No longer. As pleasing to the eyes as she is, her performance today was hideous.

Obviously the law hath cometh down. Keep Hillary ALIVE! WE MUST SUPPORT HER FIGHT TO THE BITTER END. And the more bitter, the better.

"Constant infighting" "To the end" "at each others throats"

She had two people on, an obvious male Hillary supporter, and a female GOP operative. Every time the GOPer started making sense, for ex, "Look, she spent a week throwing the kitchen sink at Obama, and now she wants to get married on the ticket? Only in a Clinton relationship does that seem to work." Mika interrupted, "Whoa, whoa!"

Of course, the Democrat piped in, "but Hillary's strategy is brilliant, just brilliant. She attacks while making nice. How brilliant she is!"

The transparent effort to paint the democratic race as something it is not, by MSM stinks. Forget about reporting or analyzing news. They are being the news "makers".

The real story, that MSM ignore at their peril, is what Bill Clinton said yesterday. It is obvious that they have done the math, and the figures do not add up for them. So, when Bill call for Obama to join his wife's campaign as VEEP, let' call it what it is: the last gasp from a desperate campaign, trying to remain relevant as events and time pass Camp Hillary by.

2. The high price of soybeans will energize Republicans.
 Card is an idiot.

They also let pass Card's comment that energy prices are good. :wtf:

3. If she can chop Obama's legs off with this "Dream Ticket" strategy
It's not her last gasp, though maybe a thin gasp, and that's why she's doing it. People just can't fall for it and Obama has to call it the sham it is.

7. As long as they have the media pushing it for them 24/7, and the Pollsters polling it, the
Clintons will get exactly what they want: Hillary on the ticket, by hook or by crook.

10. Obama's got to call out the trickster
She's trying to deceive the American voter. He has to make clear that is the intent.

4. To be fair... Morning Joe was good this morning, at least the later part.
A little refreshing to see Hart on there, and some real honesty from the panel. They also puffed Huffpo up without descent - also nice to see.

5. The Clintons are not only masters at "hard ball" campaigning, but have a great sense
of timing to know when to "play nice" for a while, in order to improve their image, before launching the next wave of "hard ball" campaigning.

It keeps their opponent off balance and, during the brief "play nice" phases, they have an opportunity to examine what worked and what backfired during the previous round of negative campaigning. They are very effective at this style of campaigning, even if I prefer Obama's approach.

6. I've tried to like her,.......
Edited on Mon Mar-10-08 09:02 AM by nomaco-10
but have increasingly found her to be just plain annoying.
She comes across as a fifty year old valley girl with comments like "I'm just sayin'", "just so you know" and "tell us what you really think". The eye rolling and the eggagerated facial expressions she uses when she's trying to feign frustration with "morning joe blows" are both unprofessional and unattractive. The extended dropped jaw, the gaping mouth and the pursed lips always accompanied by the rolling eyeballs, has become a little over the top.
I've seen her interview people and do a great job. She's clever and articulate and always asks the most intelligent questions, but only when joe is sidelined, so I know she has it in her to be a top notch host. She should have eviscerated that steaming pile of bullshit known as am joe and stood up for herself, maybe the other men on the show would have showed her some respect.
I also think she could do herself some good if she quit channeling Nancy's Sinatra's wardrobe, "I'm just sayin'"
