Still, we'll go thru a whole news cycle where the talk is "Spitzer disgraced...and...yadayada...endorsed Hillary." Doesn't have to mean anything if the names get mentioned in the same sentence. The word "and" is all the connection most people need.

Spitzer endorses Clinton, New Jersey mayors lend support to Obama

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer formally endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential bid Monday, calling the New York Democrat someone who has "proven herself time and again."

"We know there is one person who can bring us back, one person who has the vision, the courage, the guts to say what has to be said, to stand up to those interests who do not like to be stood up to," Spitzer said. "One person who back when it was not popular to talk about health care reform, she did it. When it was not popular to talk about failing education, she did it."

41. Yeah! I won't gloat if she pulls back all the crap she's spewed in the past few days to
the detriment of Obama.

She's clearly not ready to lead, either, if she can't "vet" her endorsers better! (She wants us to think she's vetting Barack--how about a few minutes with the people in your own camp!)

Every put-down she throws at Barack DESERVES an honest come back. This is her "just desserts" for the 3 a.m. ad (and the little star who is a Barack supporter!)!

Hillary may be qualified to be Commander in Chief--BUT....she's no more or less qualified than Barack Obama! For her to pretend otherwise is an affront to people like me!

Some of you need to look at the bigger picture and put aside your partisanship for a minute.

This is a Democratic Gov. we are talking about. News like this hurts the whole party...and gives the GOP amunition against us. All of us.

This is worrisome news. And not at all because Sptizer endorsed Hillary. We should all be concerned.

1. Hillary has been on an "holier than thou" pedestal for awhile now--it's hard to take--esp. when she's actually in SECOND PLACE!

2. Hillary has called out many Obama supporters for various infractions. (I guess she forgot to vet her own supporters, first!)

3. And, my biggest problem is that she's in second place--yet she's acting like she's the front-runner and asking Obama to be VP on her ticket. Gag me now!

For me, I hope this news sobers her up a bit and puts her back in perspective--she's NOT the FRONT RUNNER! Get it?

I'm "out country" and I never "got" Eliot Spitzer. I figured it was the same mentality that allowed a carpetbagger like Hillary to waltz in and take the Senator position that elected this guy. Whatever!?! Who can explain NY voters?

Hillary supporters will flounder for a bit (where are they going to go...Nader?). Obama's supporters will welcome the fact that he renounces her--this act is long over-due!

70. Come on, now.
Some people on both sides (Hilary and Barack) seem to think that the candidates should know everything about every person who ever opened their mouths in support of that candidate. That is not possible.

Stop doing this, and I mean people on either side who tend to do this. It's counter-productive, and only serves to drive a wedge even further in the divisiveness I'm seeing here.

73. So what?
If we hold candidates responsible for the behavior of everyone who endorses them, we'll never have an acceptable candidate.

I have no reason to believe Clinton knew what Spitzer was up to, and she certainly had nothing to do with it.

78. NOOOOO!!! I'm crushed! I'm both shocked and saddened!
will Obama still accept me? Can he hear my words? I'm ready to let him in!

*room darkens, a slight cough can be heard echoing over the heads of an otherwise still and engrossed audience*

Obama can you hear me?
Obama can you see me?
Obama please forgive me.

Now that I'm alone!
The night is so much darker,
The wind... its so much colder!

Obama, how I love you!
Obama, how I need you!

83. This has nothing to do with HRC, but...
it is kind of unlucky for her that CNN is including footage of her husband in its montage of other philandering politicians as part of the Spitzer story.

84. Don't Be a Playa Hater!
The last thing we need is another sexual witch hunt frenzy. I am pro-Obama, but this hurts all of us.
