Any Obama supporter bashing Clinton over the Spitzer thing needs to grow the hell up.
I love Spitzer, was happy to vote for him, and this is heartbreaking for me.
However, his problems have nothing to do with Clinton. NOTHING.
You guys who are engaging in this childish shit are not helping our cause on DU...in fact, you're pissing all over it.
If you insist on acting like a spoiled, bratty child gloating over a new toy, take it elsewhere.
I, for one, would like there to be SOME possibility of mending fences with Clinton supporters once the nomination is settled. Stop making it even more unlikely with this kind of crap.
That is all.

Of course, Clinton is innocent in this issue, as far as we know.

13. Steve Croft is the one you should be blaming for that interview, not her.
He refused to accept her clear no for an answer. Instead, he repeated the same question not once but twice, until it appeared to me -- an observer -- that he was about to spring something on her. I bet she thought the same thing. So she finally fumbled and said, "as far as I know."

40. Whoever clipped that obviously left out the PREVIOUS question, where Croft
asked her about Obama being Muslim, and she said no.

Then Croft got that skeptical look on his face and said, "You don't believe that Obama's a Muslim . . . "

The youtube video also leaves out another significant part of the questioning, which I found here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmK3ZjZxk_w

Unlike some of the people who are relying on little edited clips from youtube, I actually watched the whole interview on TV, as it occurred. I'm neither a Hillary nor a Barack supporter, but officially bi-candidate. And I blame Croft for trying to trip her up, not Clinton, for stumbling on the third go-round on the same question.

42. Media Matters has an analysis and a transcript here.
http://mediamatters.org/items/200803040012

On the March 3 edition of MSNBC's Hardball, Politico chief political columnist Roger Simon falsely suggested that "the last thing said" on the March 2 edition of CBS' 60 Minutes when asked whether she believed Sen. Barack Obama is a Muslim was: "No, there is nothing to base that on, as far as I know." But that was not the "last thing" she said on the question. Clinton went on to say, "I have been the target of so many ridiculous rumors. I have a great deal of sympathy for anybody who gets ... smeared with the kind of rumors that go on all the time."

All this bullshit accomplishes nothing.

yet another one of our political icons taken out because he can't keep his zipper shut. With all these sweeping wiretaps, you'd think our guys would be a lot smarter. I wish him no ill will, but I am thoroughly disappointed, because he now becomes a Republican talking point, and he provided the ammo himself.

Have you taken a look at the endless threads on Rezko in the gdp? Turnabout is fairplay.

could in any way be connected to Hillary Clinton. I know he is a superdelegate but aren't all governers? If he is still in office he will still be super delegate. Anyone can vote, even arrogant philandering politicians.

27. I'm an Obama supporter, and I must agree with you
Bashing someone because of some dark past or something 'dark' and wrong with some of their supporters is just trying to unfairly associate something bad about someone with another person, even if the candidate they're linking it to doesn't share that in common with them.

By that I mean Obama may have some supporters who cheat on their spouse by hiring prostitutes just like governor Spitzer did, but that doesn't make Obama a guy who cheats on his wife and hires prostitutes behind people's backs.
