Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 04:49 PM by ClayZ
He is a Vet for Peace. They both attend all the local anti-war rallies. We went to caucus with them. They got Hillary signs at the Caucus. They had been to a Hillary book signing, and promised her to give them their vote.

He just called to say he is done with her. He was very upset with the Red Phone add and her insinuation that John McCain would be better as Commander in Chief than Obama.

They are not online.

"There is an awakening among local Dems his age", he said.

YES WE CAN

GO OBAMA!

These two are both amazing people.

My aunt passed away several years ago and I see her likeness in people I pass by sometimes. She always told me she would come back to "See" me.

You just never know.

Before my brother died, he told me to watch for Dragonflies. It worked! I think of him each time I see one.

Blessings!

29. Here is another ....
My wife is a huge Hillary supporter ... or has been.

My wife is in her mid 40s and understands what it is like to be a career woman fighting her way into a male dominated field.

She is regularly in meetings where she is the only woman. She is very successful, and yet should still be higher level than she is now.

She's been called a bitch and unfeeling ... she's been underpaid and under appreciated. And she knows how to get things done.

And she sees that same basic model in Hillary.

But my wife is extremely ethical. She hates underhanded play ... its common in some male dominated fields ... and she refuses to play the game with those tactics.

And so she is now also FURIOUS at Hillary for using fear AND for her tacit endorsement of McCain.

She'll vote for her if she's the nominee, but Hillary may very well not get her vote if the primaries reach our state undecided.

7. Looks like Hillary is reaping the
shitstorm this time. I've been hearing a lot of comments like this from all quarters.

I'll admit I suported Obama before this, but it was lukewarm, something like a 60-40 tug of war within me. After the McCasin thing, though, I feel a level of disgust with her tactics beyond what I've felt for most Democratic candidates in the last 40 or 50 years.

It comes off as insincere, affected and flat-out false to some.

That's not bitterness, that's using simple powers of observation. He has every right to play a preacher on TV, and people have every right to look askance.

It belongs to my friend's aunt. Sweetest old lady too! I was actually shocked she was a Dem!

My daughter and I wanted one for Obama, but all we could get was a bumper sticker. Seems Ft. Hood and Killeen area snatched em all up.
Hey I was just proud as punch that a military town went BLUE~!

...most I know hate Hillary. I do not know any person who actually has even a minimal positive regard for her...and that applies to Republicans, Democrats, male, female, old, young. She is equally hated by everyone I know. What I am seeing is that most will vote Dem if it is a Obama vs. McClain contest, but most will stay home and not vote at all if it is a Hillary vs. McClain contest since both Hillary and McClain are pretty much equally hated and disliked and there really is no difference between them ~~ both lying war hawk corporate elitists.

60. I've said before....
Sen. Clinton would be a fantastic choice for president.......

....if she was a Republican. Much of her voting record is very much in tune with that party, and I think she would be a tremendous asset to the GOP if she switched parties. (Plus it would be fun to watch the right wing talking heads explode as they tried to turn around 16+ years of Hillary-bashing.)

But she's a Democrat. And as such, I do not feel she is a good choice for this party - or the country.

Both are very friendly!

I have a feeling if they are feeling this way, plenty of folks are.

I am the one who ran back into the caucus to get the Hillary Signs for them. She asked for one, and I got two.

My husband and I rode down there with them. Our neighbor is an old pro at caucuses and I had never been to one. I could not get an OBAMA sign for us. We laughed that we would have them covered with their Hillary Sign and if I got an OBAMA sign.

I printed one and put it in the back of our VW Camper.

So much for causing a shit storm with a simple story! ARGH!

67. My heart goes out to them.
She's is letting down millions of people. It's hard to choose a candidate and then to get passionate about them and really support them, only to be spit on and so disappointed. I do, I feel for the Clinton supporters out there who are realizing what she's really like. I was one of them, but it was a while back, so my let down wasn't nearly as great.

81. Tell them that Obama is claiming Hillary wanted to scare people with that photo
of him in native garb. Show it to them and see if they laugh. It wouldn't scare a fly.

Maybe McCain's background does prepare him to be a better command-in-chief. Try to think like a Republican campaign manager.

How does McCain's military and Congressional record compare to Obama's? I don't believe Obama served in the military, and he has been too busy campaigning to attend to his committee. With Obama, one can hope he is going to be better. If he is the candidate, I'm sure there will be no end to the comparisons. Obama did give a speech in Illinois opposing the war. I objected to it as well. Too bad neither of us was in the U.S. Senate and had a chance to vote and that a selected president lied to Congress and the American people to start a preemptive war.

82. The Clintons know they have to play race now to win, pitting whites against blacks.
And they don't give a hoot if it hurts them as long as they get that nomination.

And if they do, their nomination will be worthless.

87. Oh! That is a beauty!
My brother was a drug pusher, I mean pharmacist. He had a great sense of humor.

Whenever I get a dragonfly fly-by, it is like a little Valentine from him. He sent me a Valentine every year for 55 years. Now they come on Dragonflies wings.

I have my grandmothers Christmas Cactus and each time it blooms it is like a postcard from her.

Our poor kids will will dream of ocarina tuning for the rest of their lives.

DO RE ME FA SOL LA TI DO

One daughter says the sound is in every dream. hehehehe!

I was in the grandkids Jazz Choir Room the day we chaperoned them to the Music Experience Museum in Seattle. They had the Chromatic Chart on the wall. The kids say they sing solfege songs.

I want to go back to school. Those Music Teachers look like they have lots of fun.

92. My neighbors, a veteran of WWI, & his mom, just took a baseball bat to their Obama sign
that the WWI vet's granddaughter had stuck in their front lawn one night after dark. They replaced it with a Vote for the Goddess of Peace sign because they're sick of wars and they know that Hillary is the only candidate who vowed to end Bush's war upon taking the oath of office.

98. Her spport for Mc Cain did it
Although, I decided for Obama weeks ago (Iraq-Iraq-Iraq) as a middle-aged woman I have continued to be interested in Clinton's campaign. Her support for Mc Cain changed all of that. I have been unsubbing from all that campaign's email notices today.
