Anyone basing their vote on a forum is crazy
Edited on Thu Mar-13-08 07:09 AM by cooolandrew
The boards allows us to defend and vent a valve about our candidates, it should never ever be used to base a vote that is totally illogical. We on the forums don't count basing votes on a forum is the worst way to decide follow the candidates not us... That is a bizarre way to elect. You have free option to zone us out just follow the candidates via their sites. It's their message not ours.

If anyone you know is basing their vote this way discourage them and tell them to put their focus on candidate what ehyare saying is their vision positive or

1. I base my vote on issues,
which is why neither of the current top two will get my vote. It has nothing to do with DU, and everything to do with refusing to be dragged any further past the center, refusing to support centrist/corporate/3rd way candidates.

10. It's true that the ugliness that passes for campaigning

in GDP gets some people so stirred up, and so determined to defeat the "enemy" who supports the other candidate that their entire perspective is viewed through that lens.

It's too bad. I wish every voter would vote issues rather than personalities. Some good, substantive conversations about how to move issues forward would help us make more appropriate choices in the voting booth.

11. I'll vote. I always do.
Right now, quite frankly, I'm holding out for a brokered convention and a nominee I'm okay with voting for. After the convention, I'll regroup, look at my options, and decide just what to do with my vote.

3. Since I work on campaigns,

I do pay attention to the supporters. I end up spending a lot of time with these people. Yes, many here are merely keyboard commandos but from what I have seen so far, they do seem to reflect the overall attitude of their candidate's supporters. And that is a reflection of the candidate.

This campaign has been nasty enough that I have already decided not to work on Hillary's campaign if she is our nominee.

5. I disagree
Basing your vote on the alignment of the stars would be even worse. I think it is EXTREMELY important that you divorce yourself from this destructive line of thinking Coolandrew and that you both reject and denounce it in front of the American people at a press conference at noon today. I'll bring the popcorn. /sarcasm off.

Stuck on who to vote dont take the word of average joe take teh word of the candidates. We are just opinions and they are pretty worthless in this process. Just a point of view no more. Others may disagree I just put thoughts out there anyone can take them or leave them but make the candidates words more important is my plea.
