What if he said these things about WHITE people or GAYS or WOMEN! It is a hard life to be black, it is a hard life to be gay (I am gay so I know, it's scary to even go to the store in a small town where I live. It's illegal to sell ALCOHOL in the small town I live in because it's run by southern baptists.) but being hispanic... in small town north carolina... that has to be one of the most hated groups, and it is so wrong. The reason it feels worse than the hatred for blacks in the south is because most southerners (around here) know enough to be ASHAMED of their racism towards blacks. However, hispanics, that's not only okay, it's expected, and if you aren't rasict towards hispanics then you must hate America! Several years ago I dated a hispanic boy who was brought here when he was 8 years old. This is the only place he ever really knew, and one day he came home during his senior year in high school to find out that his parents had been contacted by the FBI and were going to be deported. They fled and he was left all alone in a town with no home, with nothing because he didn't want to leave his high school, his friends, his LIFE!

Lou Dobbs is one of the people making it MORE acceptable to hate. He is justifying a prejudice. This isn't REALLY about how they are taking away American jobs. This isn't REALLY about how they are distroying the economy. This isn't REALLY about over population. This is about hate. This is about hating someone who is different than them, and the people like us, who see what is going on, NEED to do something about it!
