JD Hayworth (R-AZ): "Let's not fall into the Kerry trap"

Hayworth is on O'Reilly right now...and O'Reilly is actually conducting himself in a way that some (but not all) DU-ers might actually approve of.

Calling the war in Iraq, ESPECIALLY in light of the prisoner photos, "an albatross around the president's neck" in an election year, he was interrupted by Hayworth, who said "let's not fall into the John Kerry trap!"

He then drew a parallel between John Kerry fighting in Vietnam and coming home to protest that war, and his call for Rumsfeld's resignation in the present day.

He then ran down the Karl Rove / Karen Hughes litany of John Kerry talking points...Kerry is this, Kerry is that, Kerry Kerry Kerry...

...and O'Reilly INTERRUPTED him and told him that it wasn't relevant and that, essentially, if Bush doesn't deal with what's on his plate it's gonna sink him.

Add Hayworth to the whore list.

4. JD has always been an idiot piece of pork. Hopefully, after AZ
goes for Kerry in November, Arizonans will also get rid of Hayworth. What a punk.

6. O'Reilly, George Will and others must know when to distance themselves
They apparently know a sinking ship when they see one. On the other hand, certain politicians who are so entrenched with the Republicans basically have no intellectual wiggle worm (were they even intellectually inclined) to move away from Bush.

Totally pathetic. This guy is up for election in November. Will his Arizona constituents toss him out as he deserves?

7. You've hit on something major here...
...because O'Reilly does seem to be backing away from a pro-Bush stance on his show, but still displays his old and familiar tendencies on other topics.

He hasn't crossed into anti-Bush territory, but he definitely isn't stumping for the Chimp.

9. Thats a joke
If Kerry got so much as a splinter in his butt from sitting on his swift boat, he still did more during the war in Vietnam than Bush or virtually all the members of his cabinet other than the one man on his cabinet who did not want to Rush to war, Colin Powell.

10. Hayeorth is another of those radio "personalities" that got swept...
into the House during the Gigrich 'devolution'. He was a lousy sportscaster, that ran w/the RW neo-con agenda, and picked up a seat from AZ. He is one of the stupidest men ever elected to Congress, he has NO friends, and people avoid him like the plague.

I think most of the people in his district got wise to this idiot, but the turnout got him back in over the years. He's a porker from the old school, he brings the bacon to his district, and the people like that.

When I was in AZ, he was laughed at all the time on the radio...I think he was going to lose his contract, so he ran for the House. What an imbecile....x(
