Clinton has hit a new low, which for her is waaaay down there.
Clinton supporters say Obama has said things just as vile but he has not. Some of his supporters have but not him. Here is is Hillary herself and her husband who are swimming in the shit.

She can't win. She needs to get out. Now. (You think any blacks will vote for her now? After he comments on Wright? Have you ever been to a black church? She has, I'm sure. She knows. She is vile, vile, vile.)

I have already decided I will not contribute to her campaign if she steals the nomination but today I find myself thinking how hard it will be to vote for her.

2. The black vote for the primary has been settled. It is maxed out for Obama.
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 02:09 PM by anamandujano
There might be some that switch to Hillary out of embarrassment over the Wright fiasco.

14. What on earth does that mean?
It seems to me like your saying hillary has nothing to lose by comparing wrights words to imus's.

16. It means that Obama already has the lion's share of the black vote.
Maxed out means he can count on that demographic by close to 100% but he can't win unless he starts sucking up to whites. He has missed that boat.

Imus is an @sshole to be sure but he said one thing that he made a groveling apology for. I still think he should disappear forever but it's not up to me.

Wright with his toxic mindset has been preaching to the Obamas for 20 years. He's been preaching for several years to their children.

The two don't begin to compare.

25. Great! Just what the racial discourse in America needs - a black man "sucking up to whites."
While I'm sure many people (including no small number of Zellary supporters) would love to see that, my feeling is that you should probably choose your words a bit more carefully.

As for me, I'm white and I don't need any "sucking up" to be convinced. Obama stands for the same things I do, and moreover, I wasn't even really offended by Wright's comments.

Suit yourself if you're eager to see Obama "sucking up to whites."

33. because obama has the lions share of the black vote doesnt mean she should start...
acting disrespectful towards black people. If she thinks wright is unworthy to be a preacher, what does that say to all the people who dont judge wrights entire character by the few quotes out there?

I find myself thinking it would be hard to support Obama. I think the filth from his campaign is pretty bad.

It's all a matter of perspective, I guess.

30. If that is your honest, non-political opinion
Then you and your mindset are sad beyond belief. Obama has actually tried to bridge the racial divide, and been fairly successful in doing so. However Hillary, in her scorched earth tactics, continues to play the race and racist card, trying desperately to smear Obama with anything, everything.

Meanwhile, in her little church group, the Fellowship, she continues to hobnob with such fine theocrats like Santorum and Brownback. Hmmm, which is more damaging to the fabric of our society, somebody like Wright or somebody like Brownback. I'd much rather deal with somebody like Wright anyday than a theocrat like Brownback. But that who Hillary chooses to hang out with, wonder why? If I were like Hillary supporters, and judged candidates by whom they worshiped with, I'd have to say that Hillary is a fine little theocrat also.

Thats why so many have been fingered in the Rezko Trial. Not one Chicago politico is "honest" in anyway, shape or form!

And that includes Obama.

Certain known disreputable people meant to take the fall for the perceived reputable ones.

All they need is "one" to point the finger, when a "deal" for immunity is offered.

27. Now THAT is a puzzle worth investigating
The cry for Hillary to drop out has become so intense that I'm left wondering WHY they want her out of the race so badly.

The excuses that "she's tearing the party apart" doesn't wash. It sure didn't keep David Axelrod and Team Obama from starting a smear campaign. Nor does the fear of a McCain win have the ring of truth. If that was their fear, they would pledge themselves to keep positive no matter what. Considering that Hillary's attacks have been pretty perfunctory and lacking in bite, their howls of outrage are also suspicious. But the hell-bent demand that she DROP OUT NOW GOD DAMN IT!!!! is the main curiosity. Something is driving it. But it's not any consideration for the party, the country, or Humanity.

It's something else. I'm not privy to what it is, but it's something that has driven Obama HQ to an absolute frenzy.

6. ITA. She cannot win the primary or the GE. The GOP would destroy her for her lies, especially...
the Sniper Lie.

She lied about her experience, and the sniper lie is especially bad because McCain REALLY HAS suffered sniper fire. Indeed, it is an insult to McCain (and all soldiers) for her to pimp her resume by claiming she'd experienced enemy fire when she had not.

The hatred and venom here is amazing. Hillary has become the hate receptacle for the tribe.
