Could Pennsylvania force crossover voters to use provisional ballots?

Could Pennsylvania force crossover voters to use provisional ballots?
And would that be useful? Just wondering, because maybe they could just not count those unless necessary. The state could say with all the unprecedented Republican crossovers switching to vote in our primary, they needed to prevent fruad. Thoughts?

1. No such thing, technically, as a "cross-over" voter in PA... CLOSED primary
Everyone who votes in the Democratic primary MUST be registered as a Democrat.

2. right, but they're crossing over to become Dems, as I knew, sorry for the term crossover
but can't the state hold those and review them and see if they're a ridiculous majority for one candidate? I guess my point of Limbaugh being held accountable for his words is the bigger deal, I'd love to see him brought down for spurring voter fraud.

5. If people register as Dems, there is nothing you can do but count the votes.
I know obama doesn't like that, but too damn bad.

If so, theres no way to seperate the Limbaugh assholes from the real Democrats, is there?

Well, I mean outside of the drooling and the glazed eyes, but thats not a reason to give them a provisional ballot.

Actually, the really dumb ones just don't show up. Like the guy who showed up, ready to vote, drunk off his ass, and in the wrong place. Wonder if he ever made it there to vote. :D

Amendment 14, section 1

" Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Not counting the votes of recent crossovers is doing exactly that, denying equal protection of the law allowing people to vote in the primary if they register by the legally set date.

And who's to say what is "necessary" when counting votes? That's far too vague.

By the way, republicans switching over is not fraud. It may be unethical, but if they register as a dem, it's not fraud.

determined later.

If the pukes can hire armed thugs and cops to close voting sites in black neighborhoods, why can't we do something similar?

That being said, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the party to recognize they need to bring a gun to this knife fight.

8. hmmm... I have to agree, I don't care what some may think on here
you are RIGHT. They do every damn dirty trick, even outright radio agendas telling people to crossover to DEMS just to elect the weaker candidate... and your last line is right on... we need to be bringing the big guns (of ideas) to this knife fight... we're in a war of ideas and how this country is run - we need to force honest and transparent voting, not allow voter fraud attempts by radio figureheads.
