Would Hillary be circulating a Florida and Michigan petition if she were winning?

If the positions were reversed, and Hillary was leading Obama by around 200 delegates with only a few contests left to go, would Hillary be circulating a Florida and Michigan petition?

Probably not.

1. No
Since she advocates ignoring all the votes and letting the Super Delegates anoint her, this is more than a little transparent.

2. What she is doing is disgusting...
She is trying to convince voters that she is fighting FOR their voices and Obama against, when the reality is that they broker party rules in a party process and it is up to the PARTY and the STATE what happens.

3. It really is disgusting. And she wouldn't be in favor of seating the delegates if she were leading.

5. It's none of her business whether she is winning or losing.
This whole thing is between the party and the state, not individual candidates.

Making a public display of how she is trying to overthrow the party rules/decision making shows the depths to which she will sink to get what she wants.

10. Perhaps. You have no proof of that, however.
P.S. I read your diary. I'm sorry. :( That is really sad.

13. I'll just say this...
I would be disappointed in either of our candidates if they did not want every vote counted. And I believe that, if the responsibility fell to Obama and his supporters, they would take up the gauntlet.

Thanks for the sympathy. Today would have been his birthday.

22. Hillary is disingenuous about it. She wouldn't give a damn about it
today if she didn't desperately need the votes cast. Do you think if rolls were reversed she'd be hammering away at this?

16. "If the positions were reversed" = speculation, not unlike the assertion 'If BO wore a crown...
'...he'd act just like a philosopher-king in a fairy tale.' and that jury hasn't even been voir dire yet :eyes:

Would Team Obama be so suspicious of Hillary's petition if they felt secure that they're winning?
