Introducing the Obama Organizing Fellows

This summer we are looking for students or recent graduates who want to be a part of a new generation of leadership that believes, like Senator Obama, that real change comes from the ground up.

Fellows will be trained on the basics of organizing & campaign fundamentals and then placed in a community to carryout grassroots activities. Program participation will start on June 5 through the end of the summer. Fellows will be asked to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Additional details along with the fellowship application will be available online by Friday, April 5th.

5. the next generation of leaders...

remember boys and girls that after 1968 the republicans built there base with college students and we are now living under their thumb. it`s important to train our future leaders to protect our republic.they will not stop and thank god there are democrats that understand this. i`m excited for the future of the party under the leadership of barack and those who he chooses to advise him..i may not live long enough to see this country be the place we know it should be but i do have faith that it can be done...

Obama out-organized everyone else, and now wants to build the party of the future. Clinton would be a decent president, but the party would very likely go downhill during her tenure as it did in the 90s. We need to get beyond that 50% + 1 is enough to govern nonsense.
