I'm going door to door for Clinton today. What should I do if I run into Jehovah's Witnesses?

I've been out door to door tons, but have never run into a Jehovah's witness. It might depend on the area you're in though.

I sure don't. They are some of the most stand up people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Do I agree with them and their religious beliefs? Not in any manner. But...they are free to practice whatever they wish and they sure as hell are not hurting anyone. I sure as hell can tell you that I have never seen JWs exercise discrimination. They are some of the most color blind people I have ever met.

anyone? My best friend was raised a Witness. They pressured his mother to remain in an abusive marriage, where both she and the children were beaten on a regular basis. When she finally mustered the courage to leave him, they shunned her, and used all their legal and financial resources to see that she and the children received as little as possible in the divorce, even helping her husband to hide assets. Those kids were left with emotional and psychological scars that will never heal. They are sexist, homophobic, discourage people from getting invovled in any movement to improve this world because it is going to end soon anyway...NOT HURTING ANYONE? I suggest you educate yourself about them.
