1. Unless I missed something - it doesn't look like she was fired.
I bet she quit, and if so - good for her for standing up for free speech.

12. She was AAR's cash cow ... she ditched them, it seems
Smart move on her part, imho

36. AAR Is No Cash Cow
considering their ratings are at the bottom of the list in every market they are in. Take San Francisco where she put her job, the station, AAR and others at risk of losing their jobs. Rush Limbaugh station #4, AAR.....way down at the bottom #23. San Francisco is the 4th largest market in the US.

She ditched the choice of being on several markets in the country to now being a couple? She just decreased her audience by a whole lot.

9. Mutts are my favorite breed.
I've only owned two purebred dogs in my life and I don't see myself ever owning one again. It's nothing but mutts for me.

8. As for those obama folk that seem outraged by Air America's
decision to fire her, I remind them that Randi was not only telling half of all loyal Democrats to go fuck themselves, but half of Air America's listening audience as well. That tends to be bad for business.

Sounds like she decided not to get jerked around.

I'm sure we'll hear the whole story on Monday.

...but is offering to renegotiate it, and Green960 is offering her a better deal, why not?

for a contract to allow one to walk away from it by breaching it.

OK, you can believe that there exists a contract where one can get out of it simply by breaking it.

It's nonsensical on its face.

13. What do you have to say about a candidate (Hillary) telling half
the democratic party to go fuck themselves? She didn't say so in those words, but neither did Randi.

31. ...
That's exactly right. Glad she is gone. She had no respect for the 50% of democrats that support Hillary, and much of what she said on air against Hillary was pure unsubstantiated bullshit. So glad I don't have to hear her drunk voice again on AAR.

37. They Didn't Fire Her
but I don't care. She's gone and what she did was incredibly stupid for AAR, the affiliates who carried her show, ratings, future ad dollars and those who work for her. For one talk show host, she has quite a few folks working for her. Will they go with her, that's a whole lot of money for one station in Florida to take on. She probably refused to apologize on-air and now instead of being heard by lots of people, she's back to not so many. Maybe some Clear Channel stations will pick her up, depends on her relationship with the few corporate owners who she has bad mouthed relentlessly. Radio is an unforgiving business.

15. Color me skeptical
Sounds like Green 960 is frustrated with not hearing what's going on at AAR, so they're forcing their hand.

I can't imagine AAR getting rid of their highest profile host, especially since they spent the past year heavily pushing Rhodes' show to radio stations. This is suicide.

She is way too good for AAR.

Is Thom Hartmann AAR, or does AAR just pick up his broadcast?

Bad for AAR - she's a veteran and will find a home on the air as long as she wants one. AAR, unfortunately, seems to be bleeding talent.
