TIME PA Poll: Clinton 44, Obama 38
Backed by more than half of all white female Democrats, Hillary Clinton holds a six point lead over Barack Obama in Pennsylvania, a new statewide poll by TIME reveals.

Clinton leads Obama overall 44% to 38% among all Democrats in the TIME survey, but enjoys a notably broader margin of support among white Democratic women: 56% to Obama's 25%. More evenly split, by contrast, are white male Democrats, who prefer Clinton by a narrower margin of 44% to 36%. The survey, conducted by Abt SRBI from April 2-6 of 676 Democratic primary voters, comes less than two weeks before the crucial April 22 primary.

17. Well, this poll has 18% undecideds. Who will they break for? IMO, they break for Hillary 12%
that puts Obama on election day at 44.

Hillary wins 56-44, by 12%.

2. I am hearing 6 points alot lately. Looks like the polls are starting to stabilize.
6 points is bad news for Clinton as she will not get many net delegates from it. And as she is spending what funds she has left trying to stop her freefall in the polls. She will go into May extremely unprepared in my view.

If the polls start to freefall again. The chances of Obama willing skyrocket.

6. I am getting the sense ...
Obama is REALLY pouring the coin into this ...

As someone in Pa, I think that six point spread might be it ... I WANT him to beat her and put her down here, but I don't think it will happen ...

Either way, I think he knows he can make her really have to sink her resources into this battle, making sure he doesn't win flat out, and trying to get a large enough margin ...

He did his bus tour through central Pa two weekends ago ... I would like to see him make another barn storming trip ...

12. The polls closed up in...
...Ohio the last few days before the primary also, and then started to widen again. We'll see if PA follows the same route since the demographics are similar. I do agree that I think Obama is spending HUGE in PA. He knows Hillary won't quit unless something drastic happens. This just may be his last chance to knock her out until the convention.

20. The debate won't mean a thing....
...particularly if it's just another MSM softball toss. Obama will be lucky to come within 10% of Hillary in PA.

13. The real keys to me are the undecided and those willing to switch...
Both of which were high in this poll. (The last paragraph says that that 20% were undecided!) Is Penn. more like Ohio or Wisconsin? I've lived in both PA and WI for long periods, and my bet is that it is more similar to Ohio. Which means that late deciders are more likely to break for Clinton. There is still time for movement either way, but if these percentages hold, right now it's looking like a 11-14 pt win for Clinton.

18. The latest Rasmussen....
Reports telephone survey shows Clinton leading Barack Obama by five percentage points in the Keystone State, 48% to 43%. That’s little changed from a week ago, but down from a ten-point lead two weeks ago, a thirteen-point lead in mid-March and a fifteen-point advantage in early March.
