Rachel Hunter prefers Bush
the model, Rod Stewart's ex wife.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,2937072a4560,00.html

<snip>

Hunter is not eligible to vote in the United States presidential elections in November, but regards herself as a loyal Republican who wants to support Mr Bush.

"If I could, I would vote for Bush," Hunter told the network.
"He has done what needed to be done because if Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden had their way, none of us would be around in 10 years.

"Clinton had a lot of tea parties with celebrities, but (right after) his term, somebody flew two planes into the Twin Towers.

"What do you want - somebody who keeps your children safe or somebody who throws nice tea parties?"

2. of course she does...

She's rich and got her money by doing nothing.

I'm sure she can identify with the couldn't-find-oil-in-Texas Chimp.

28. I think he may be an ex-pat b/c of taxes.
Having said that, I consider "Spanner in the Works" to be a really under appreciated CD. If you're a fan of some of his work (no, I'm not referring to "Tonight's the Night") check it out.

5. Let see....
Ms. Hunter married the Wealthy Rod Stewart, had a child and got a divorce, then she collects a ton of money in child support and allimony. Then she prostitutes herself in a porn-magazine and gets paid 2 million for it.

Gee, she's got alot of money for SO LITTLE work, maybe she'd like a tax cut too?!?

:eyes:

Washed-Up, Has-NEVER-Been!!!

18. I think saying that posing for playboy is "prostituting herself in a porn
magazine" is just as stupid as what she said.

It's quite clear she has no idea what it's like to have a regular, problematic life as a normal person does, but we don't need to use idiotic puritanical opinions to critisize her.

She's a spoiled hot chick, that's pretty much it.

26. Prostitute: Intransitive Verb defenition
Edited on Fri Jun-11-04 01:56 AM by Bombtrack
1 : to offer indiscriminately for sexual intercourse especially for money
2 : to devote to corrupt or unworthy purposes : DEBASE <prostitute one's talents>

Posing for playboy is not in any way shape or form equatable to whoring yourself in any literal sense. Most people who aren't JEALOUS or PRUDES would not put a person down for doing so. I'm not into blanketly defending dumbasses like her, I'm denouncing stupid attacks and attitudes, one of which is that someone should be negatively judged for posing for the vanguard of male targeted publications. Playboy is an American institution that shouldn't be disrespected by open-minded liberal people. Again this kind of attitude is based on one or a combination of 3 things. Religious/Puritanical ignorance or female Jealousy/envy, or militant infirmary feminism which has done far more to disempower women than empower them.

and your analysis of feminism is nonsense and actually quiet hostile. I know some of you guys feel threatened by the idea that women will shut you off from your best options for sexual satisfaction and exploitation. But no matter how loud you complain we are going to continue to encourage other women to use their brains rather than their looks to get ahead in the world.

But thanks for the comments from ther Uterusless gallery.

And no deep thoughts beyond that. Just a supermodel's vacuous "it's all about me, isn't it?" thoughts.

34. this way of thinking is not unusual
I hate it when people think like this- assuming that 9/11 was an OBL-backed strike (I am on the fence about this, leaning toward yes)- what makes people think that they declared war on us on 9/11/01? They just succeeded on that particular attempt. Ahh I Hate that- just because life under WJC was easy, fun, a little exciting, and uneventful doesn't mean that behind the scenes R. Clarke et al weren't on the job.

35. right
remember, the clinton administration helped prevent the millenium bombings planned for 2000 at lax airport. and the clinton administration focused on bin laden and his network specifically. on getting those who were a threat to us. but as you say about that type of thinking.just because some people can see fighting out there they think something is being done. even though none of that has anything to do with getting those who are a threat to us.

37. there were people paying attention
...even if we weren't. Also, I hope that the average distracted American notices that the Clintons, however awful the accusations were about them, were obviously not war profiteers- and this is (I hope) one of the worst possible things that an administration could do- though I must follow by saying: my fears lie with the voting machines and purges.
