He is young, a total environmentalist and had the magic Kennedy name. Maybe its the spark we need!

1. Aren't they both from Massachusetts?
That's un-Constitutional.

4. Same state? No problem. That didn't stop Bush and Cheney....
Kerry can always claim he's from Idaho!

2. May not be so good...
The repugs hate him. So even some who don't like Bush would never vote for Kennedy.

5. RFK Jr is wonderful, but
I have a pet peeve about people on the national ticket that have never held elective office. I would love to see him as EPA Director, Interior Secretary or some other major position in the kerry admin. He would be a major assett in any post.

7. No..
I would HOPE that Kerry would pay attention to the swing vote states in the South and mid-West. While I'm sure Bobby Kennedy has some excellent gravitas and is an outsider (something I AM looking for, unlike the guy above), I don't think he'd go over too well in many swing states.
Sorry.

8. Kerry is already an environmentalist which is why JR endorsed him early
and was one of his biggest supporters through the good and bad times.

he would make a great vp, but he is from the northeast and we can't have both candidates be northeasterners if we want a good chance of winning.

10. Sorry, but having the name Robert Kennedy Jr. isn't good enough
This guy has never run for elective office. He has a terrible speaking voice. He may share his father's name, but he doesn't have one-tenth the political skills or vision of his father. Nepotism might be good enough for the Republican Party, but I think the Democratic Party ought to hold itself to a higher standard.

14. Wow, and I though exploiting Reagan's death was sick
I don't quite get it -- are you suggesting that adding Robert Kennedy Jr. to the ticket would focus the public's attention on the assassintation of his father, and that all of the people who voted for Bobby Kennedy, or wish that they had, would decide to vote for Kerry? Sorry, but Kerry is no Bobby Kennedy. Come to think of it, Robert Kennedy Jr. is no Bobby Kennedy either.

15. Why are you basically asking the Busheviks to murder him?
You know what they do to Kennedys who have the potential to become pResident.

After JFK, they didn't even wait for RFK to gain the office.

The killed JFK, Jr. because he was THINKING of running.

Hell, if the trend holds up, mayeb this thread will be what decides Poppy & Unka Dick that RFK, Jr. has to be Wellstoned.

(only half joking...)
