Has anyone considered Kerry/Feingold?
Edited on Tue Jun-15-04 06:08 PM by a_random_joel
Just a thought...

Are there any known reasons why this wouldn't/couldn't happen?

Sounds like it could work geographically, plus Feingold has more name recognition than the average Senator with McCain/Feingold and some other legislation he has offered. Can also sell his bipartisanship in light of such legislation.

Would he be considered too liberal to join the ticket?

1. Fiengold is up for reelection this year. We need him to stay there and win
We cannot afford to lose his Senate seat.

2. I Agree
I think if he wasn't running yhis year, he would be getting more attention.

3. It would be one of the better choices
We need our left flank covered more than to scramble for a shrinking pool of swing voters. But apparently, the DNC disagrees with me on that. We're going to run to the center, I just hope we don't govern from there. There are too many big issues that need real solutions, not these half-assed "moderate" ones we've been pushing for the last decade.

4. How about a Kerry/Carol Channing ticket?
It would be about as likely to win, and Carol could sing "Jazz baby" at the inauguration!

9. Huh?
I assume you mean that Feingold would be a drag on the ticket. Why?
