I loved how Clinton said the other day "This is not a coronation!" Come on. She HAS to know that that specific wording has been used over and over again to describe the way that her campaign did not have a post February 5th strategy. It's so funny. This campaign has turned into the opposites game.
Yesterday, I was flipping the channels, and Josh Kraushaar from Politco was featured on CSPAN. A man called in and said that while he defended Clinton through all of the 90s, he's beginning to think that they have a problem with telling the truth. Josh Kraushaar was like "Well...I think a lot of people don't want to go back to the 90s. They want to move on." And then he immediately started talking about how Obama was rated The Most Liberal Senator by the National Review, and said "He's very happy to defend how liberal he is as well." Sorry, I just can't take anyone seriously who tries to use that National Review rating.
Oh yeah, and the caller before him was a woman who said that she was upset that "Obama was raised a Muslim, because once that is in you, it just never goes away. It's there, it just never goes away."
What the fuck, lady? It sounded like she was talking about herpes or something.
The reporters just sort of looked at each other and said "Well, but that's not true. He wasn't raised a Muslim, and he's never been a Muslim." The woman paused for a moment and said "Oops! I'm sorry! I guess I must be mistaken!" and hung up.
