A simple idea for VP selection: A WWE Steel-Cage Match
Let's inject some excitement into the campaign. Rather then the usual boring considerations for vice presidential selection, let's let Kerry submit a name of the contenders, and then have them all battle it out in a Pay TV WWE Steel Cage Death Match.

The last man (or woman) standing will become the VP candidate.

Maybe this isn't politically sophisticated. But what the heck. Maybe it would win over some of the NASCAR Dads.

1. It's like Michael Moore's moshpit
When "The Awful Truth" endorsed the Republican in 2000 because he was the only one who would step into the mobile moshpit. Hilarious. :)

8. Yes it was that right-wing geek
I can't remember his name right now, but he was the family-values Christian Coalition clone guy I think. Gotta admire his spunk anyway.

Actually a mosh pit would have been appropriate for good-time George.

2. Clark would wipe everyone out.
The guy was climbing down hills in gunfire like 5-6 years ago. I would feel sorry for the rest.

9. Howard Dean would win
Have you seen his neck?

I'd really like to see Kucinich in the middle of that.

15. I agree
He has the wrestling background and can psyche-out his opponents with startling battle cries.

11. This is such a great idea
I'll buy it. And I will buy some popcorn from Padraig's stand so at least it'll be a worthy event.

12. Weapon-of-choice, or bare-knuckle, no-holds-barred?
Weapons would tend to level the playing field for the older and/or less athletic candidates. ;)
