getting FH911 screened
My sister lives in Savannah Georgia and Fahrenheit 911 is not playing ANYWHERE near them (although they have many large cinema complexes in that city. The closest place is Charleston, SC which is 1 1/2 hrs away. How can she look into getting it screened?

2. Tell her to call the Regal Theaters
There are 2 Regal Theaters in Savannah and Regal is definitely showing it in some other states. Don't bother with Carmike. I think they're passing on it altogher.

Keep in mind that just because it isn't slated for the first weekend doesn't mean it won't get there eventually, maybe even in a week or two. They're only showing it on 550+ screens the first week, but that is a HUGE number for a documentary.

But then, a 1 1/2 hour drive sounds like a nice day trip to me!

4. Carmike is playing it.
While I don't know about other Carmike theaters, the Carmike Wynnsong 16 in Murfreesoro, TN is playing it. I talked to the theater manager today and he said tickets go on sale Wednesday. Seems several people have been asking for it. I'll definitely be there Friday night. I thought I was going to have to drive to Nashville to see it.

5. That's great to hear
Carmike was one of the theater chains that was just saying no. I guess they've had a change of heart. Maybe they ACTUALLY WATCHED THE FILM!!!!

Really, that is good news because they own theaters in a lot of small to medium sized towns. I do know that they've been dealing with a strike too though.

3. Call the theater. All the local theaters here are owned by one
person. They have decided if it is being played. I keep calling to ask. Should know by Tuesday.
