which would you prefer to hear about during the next four years?

3. Who the hell is the milk man?
And with all do respect, the media has tried once again to eliminate the Clark part of the equation. Also Edwards looks perpetually constipated to me, so we know he is not just hiding something up his sleeve, but somewhere else. IMHO. I really grow weary of Edwards supporters acting like he is the only choice for Kerry and ignoring the people that are screaming NO! It's rather reminiscnet of Marie Antoinette saying "Let Them Eat Cake", thereby ingnoring the wishes of the people.

5. So his dad was? so what?
My dad was a machinist for American Motors for 30 years. I dont know 2 shits about putting together a car. So Geppy's "connection to the common man" is a bunch of crapola. The Kerry Clark combo scares the bejesus out of the repukes, and that, my friends, right there is reason enough for me.

Edwards supporters are Ignoring Clark supporters? What?

Marie Antoinette was a leech living on the backs of the French populace sucking the blood of the sufferers. How you get from her to Edwards supporters is beyond me.

I'm not an Edwards supporter myself, but if I were I think I might take offense at this Marie Antoinette comparison.

Makes we folks who prefer another candidate start thinking about the alternatives. I've heard both Gep and Edwards speak and Gep just comes across much more sincere and even more interesting than Edwards, to me at least. But I know how much grass roots support Edwards has and whoever most helps us win I'll support with all my heart and soul.

13. I don't accept the premise so I won't participate.
At least in the primary season a small portion of the public got to vote for who they wanted to run for President, and the media actually plays an important role in doling out information to those voters. When they narrow down the field of who they will cover, it does have a dramatic impact. This time there is only one voter, Kerry. And the media will cover whoever he picks. I want no part in playing along with their attempts to discard any of our viable candidates through slanted speculation. I believe Gep and Edwards are strong contenders, maybe the strongest, I dunno. But Kerry gets the call and no one is claiming that he has made up his mind yet, or that they are certain that Kerry has narrowed his choices down to only those two men.

23. Me neither
There is absolutely no reason to believe it's down to these two. Only the media is saying that (even Nelson said nothing of the kind). Only a week or so ago, the media was saying it was down to Edwards and Clark, leaving out Gephardt.

I think Kerry has already decided, but whether he has or hasn't, the media doesn't have a clue. They are ALWAYS wrong. Always. If they were talking up our guy, Tom, THEN I'd be worried. ;)

Those who talk don't know; those who know don't talk.
What about that is so hard to understand?

But if it let's some folks around here win a poll for a change, hey, what the heck?

31. Well you certainly don't have to vote; I understand.
But I can't agree with you that the only vote regarding who will be Kerry's running mate is Kerry's vote.

Other people have influence in that decision (always do). It's Kerry's vote in one sense--that he announces it, etc., but he has a heck of a lot of people advising him.

35. Actually, you're wrong
Kerry has the only vote.

I can ask as many people as I want to advise me on who to vote for in Nov. People will come to my door, fill my mailbox, and inhabit my tv, to give me advice unsolicited. I can listen or not, but when I go into the voting booth, only I pull the lever. It's MY vote.

VP is Kerry's choice and only his. People are advising him, but they don't make the decision.
