for god's sake, John. this ain't rocket science, it's politics. if you pick edwards, clark, or gephardt you will almost surely win unless iraq makes an amazingly quick turnaround. not likely, not with bunny boy bush in the driver seat.

so please, just give us your pick already so we can get behind whoever it is you pick. maybe we can achieve some rare democrat unity heading into the convention.

4. if Kerry picks now it will be earlier than people usually pick vps

vps are usually picked about a week or 2 before the convention. many people on here think kerry is taking too long but he isn't taking any longer than any candidates before him. and anyways, the vp announcement isn't just about announceing the vp. it is one of the few times we will get media attention which should mostly be positive at first. and he has to be smart to be able to get as much out of it as he can.
