Got a phone call a few hours ago. A friend/former co-worker of mine was in a car accident this weekend. I just got back from saying my goodbyes in the ICU, offering condolences to her family and having a sad reunion with friends.
She was declared brain dead today and all that is left is for her family to come into town before she is taken off of life support.

So full of life, opened her home to any/everyone.

Our circle of friends is having a hard time wrapping our minds around this. One of those moments where you get the phone call and tell the person on the other end that they must be mistaken..must have misheard what happened.

13. Good post. It'll happen becasue all we have to do is think what will happen to the environment

if a Repuke gets in again. The environment just cannot stand 4 more years of what Bush has done to it in 7 years and counting, rolling back and extinguishing almost all of the fine environmental laws that were passed by us Dems in the 90's. That alone is enough to bring us together, let alone all the other vitally important reasons we already know about.
