Went to the politics page to see if Demo convention stuff was still up, and found this:

Most of the text and links on the page refer to Kerry/Edwards. But, guess whose picture heads it?

Maybe MSNBC is trying to capture the brain-dead undecided vote with a different strategy.

I did follow the link and saw the big pic of Bush (sorry for the spoiler) over the headline about Kerry and Edwards hitting the campaign trail. Sorry. Absolutely sorry.

And then, like every other time I try to access anything on the MSNBC site, my computer froze up and wouldn't respond. Can't close the window, can't even use control-alt-delete to end the program or restart computer. Nothing works except pulling the plug and restarting everything, going through the scan for disk errors, etc...

What the heck is going on here? This isn't a new issue for me. Is my computer just crazy, or has anyone else had this problem?

4. I have constant issues with the MSNBC site

in fact I avoid going to it if I can help it. Their windows open extremely slowly for me. It does seem like the computer is "frozen" (though it isn't, I usually just open another window and surf while waiting for the MSNBC article to come up). I suppose it could be a browser compatibility issue.
