2. They don't realize that they may be just a paycheck
away from homelessness themselves. All it takes is one illness in the family. I know, my son had cancer, lost his job, no insurance and almost lost it all. Thankfully, he has parents that were able to help hold him over until... He's now in remission :bounce:

But, what if we couldn't help. He would have lost his home and he and his family would be sleeping in the street.

I've always said, don't spit in the wind...

3. Double bounce.
What a blessing and what a blessing that he had you.

I worked with the homeless for years and the majority of them were industrious and hardworking. Others were mentally ill. I can honestly say the few I met who were that way by choice, were very reluctant to use the system at all.

It was wonderful to see their spirits soar when they were treated with respect and recognized for their individuality.
