New ARG poll Kerry 49% Bush 46%

Yet another poll is showing a minimal bounce for the Kerry/Edwards ticket. American Research Group gives Kerry 49% and Bush 46% nationally with 776 likely voters +/- 3.5%. The poll was conducted July 30-August 1.

A poll by ARG in early July gave Kerry a 49-45 percent lead.

It does appear to me that ARG must have interviewed a higher portion of republicans. Since among independents Kerry leads by ten points 52-42. Among Dems Kerry leads 87-9 and among Republicans Bush leads by a statistically similar 87-7 percent.

1. I'm sure that the polls are rigged. BushCo got them early on.

The other reason that Kerry won't get that much of a bounce is that there isn't much of a bounce to be had. With only 10% of the voters undecided, the pickings are slim.

The Bush morans are dug in deep, and I'm certainly not changing my position!

that Kerry fell "far short of the DEMOCRAT prediction of a 15 point bounce". That's right, according to Hannity the Dems predicted a 15 point bounce and failed. Thanks Hannity, you lying sack of crap.
