said by Hillary's supporters about her portrayal on SNL.

Riverdaughter was all over the "Bitch is the new black" skit, today ...... nada.

http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/

Hillaryis44 was pretty thrilled about the early portrayal of Hillary. However, today they are quiet as a mouse.

http://hillaryis44.org

Noquarter was pretty happy when she Hillary was "Live From New York!" It's so quiet today that you can that non-existent quarter drop.

I'd like to believe that one day these bloggers will figure out that SNL is nothing more than comedy. It was funny to them when they lampooned Obama, why aren't they laughing now? Personally I think that bitch is the new black is the funniest thing they've had on all season, until last night.

1. Gosh, I wonder where is your outrage? Were you one who wrote to SNL
when they portrayed Obama in a bad light? Didn't you all have a campaign of letters talking about how unfair it was to portray a presidential Candidate like that?

Where are you now?

Double STandard. Hypocrisy.

2. Put down your pots and pans
I know you guys are fond of them....but its time to step away from the Kitchenware. No need to humilate yourselves again by protesting TV shows in the street.

3. No. I found it pretty funny when they made fun of Obama. You must have me confused with .........
someone else. I laughed at most of the political crap they've done. Personally, their political coverage has been the funniest thing they've put on all season. The rest is pretty lame.

5. Wow just wow
"Talking about IN and NC! SD will settle the election. Whites won't vote for an AA. I think she is funny ~ but, maybe it's a Hillary put-down! I'm not sure!"

They are really stupid

9. I would actually go watch them. Nothing funnier than someone picketing a comedy show for ........
what they think isn't funny. Hell, if I was running SNL I would make it part of weekend update.

8. I Thought It Was A Little Over The Top
Venomous rather than witty/satirical. Wrote and told them so, not that I am one to wave around empty boycott threats, etc.

But I did let them know I was especially disgusted by the "my supporters are racists" comment. Unfortunately, it just reinforces one more derogatory characteristic attributed to her supporters (old white women on AOL with dial-up, blue-collar, uneducated-have I forgotten anything?), and will be endlessly parroted by Obama's less evolved fans.

11. I would agree with you, except for the fact that there are several ......
bad apples in the Hillary campaign that reflect that image. It's comedy, and some of the funniest and brutal stuff comes from real life situations. It's suppose to be over the top.

The 3am skit, with Obama sitting behind a desk smoking, was funny as hell.

10. I think it lampooned her critics as much as anything...
... by portraying her as she has been touted (a bit exaggerated, but not by much). The absolute ridiculousness of it all came through loud and clear. And yes ... it just comedy....

13. I'll Try To Think Of It That Way
Things looking as bad as they do for her right now, I guess the timing is a little late.

14. The butt of the joke was not Clinton
It was Hillary Haters. The joke was the ludicrous exaggerations of the HH club. Those who did not find it funny simply missed the point.

While watching it, I became convinced that the writer came to DU for the material.

15. Then Clinton supporters should be out in force crowing about what a wonderful skit it was for them.

17. Like I said, a lot of people didn't get it.
Those who are looking for more reasons to hate Clinton saw it as a hit piece.
Those who are Clinton zealots are pretty raw right now and were not able to see the humor in it.

I think the rest of us (and that would be most of the country) saw it as mocking the "Clinton is Satan Club".

18. I think it was a combination of both .......
It was meant to paint an unflattering picture of Hillary by exaggerating her tactics, and make fun of those that exploit them.

19. That's what parody is, right?
I thought it was pretty funny. The rest of the show was really weak. They ought to stick with current politics - that's always been their strong suit.

20. Exactly. I just disagree that Hillary wasn't the butt of the joke. She was one of ............
the two cheeks. I'll let people decide if it was the right or left.
