Poll question: What Cable Station Is The Most Sneaky About It's Bias
CNN ?

Fox?

MSNBC?

I say CNN.... At least the people who work at Fox believe what they are saying.... I can respect that..... And the "fair and balanced" is really said tongue in cheek

1. It was a hard decision ...
between CNN and MSNBC. It is becoming easier to pick up on the FAUX spin. A few years ago, maybe, but people are catching on.

MSNBC is working its way up the right-wing spin ladder, but not quite there, yet. CNN takes the cake, probably since they are starting to come out of the closet and show their true colors. I do not think the general public know this yet. Hell, some still think Faux is "fair and balanced." *shivers*

5. Some of the MSNBC people are ok
Fox and CNN are basically the same as far as I can tell.

Tweety on MSNBC is usually spouting rw talking points most of the time about how the Clintons want Kerry to lose, etc.

6. Fox isn't sneaky, they flaunt their bias and brag about it
CNN is still viewed as the "liberal" network and Colin Quinn still refers to it as Al Jazeera West.

Actually CNN is Fox News lite. MSRNC is the best out of those three but I prefer CBS or International news like BBC.

9. CNN is the worst. MSNBC is slightly redeemed by Olberman...
Plus, shows like "Scarborough Country" and "Hardball" do a better job of extending invites to the likes of Katrina Vanden Heuvel, David Corn and Molly Ivins than a lot of the other networks.

In fact, I found the Scarborough/Reagan "After Hours" program to be the only watchable Convention show. That probably had something to do with the fact that the panel was usually Dem-friendly and it kept Killer Joe and Pat B. in check.

MSNBC, on the whole though, still drinks the Bush kool-aid. I mean, shit, they DID axe Donahue even though his show was their highest-rated program. There's no way to spin against that.

But I do hear more dissenting voices on their programs than anywhere else. Even if they usually get shouted down before the commercial breaks.

10. CNN Is The Most Pernicious
Edited on Mon Aug-02-04 05:52 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
because while their commentators have a liberal bias their anchors have a conservative bias....

I'll never forget in 00 the anchorwoman in the morning who works with Bill Hummer asked the person who was covering Gore who "Gore will be today".... This was an anchor mind you....
