Kerry needs to start pounding home the message about the Supreme Court

Bush stacking the court with more Scalia and Thomas types will sink this country as we know it. This is the most important issue in this election and I'm not hearing jack about it. Has anybody heard Kerry or Edwards talk about it?

This is one issue (among many) that makes my blood pressure spike...

1. Yes, Kerry did talk about it. In my community, the subject is

brought up quite often on our local liberal radio (and print). One host in particular is very concerned about this, just as are you. You are not alone in that. It is a very serious thing.

2. It is important, but ...

I don't think the Court works to Kerry's advantage. The Democratic base is united. Bush or his surrogates may raise Court appointments as an issue, because it reminds his wavering base of Kerry's liberalism and their conservatism. When Kerry talks about the Patriot Act, Americans dieing in Iraq, and the Bush deficit, he resonates with true conservatives and Bush's base wavers even more.
