president"

Does anyone else remember this?

I still cannot believe this man is our President.

5 years later and I'm still mortified.

1. It didn't bother me that Bush didn't know the names. . .
what deeply disturbed me was he was so incapable of thinking on his feet that he permitted the reporter to bait him in to that situation. I knew then Bush would be at a distinct disadvantage in almost every exchange with foreign and domestic opponents. Now, five years on, I have to remove the qualifier: Bush is at disadvantage in absolutely every human exchange.

3. The writer makes that point nicely. He responded like a child.

And nevermind the leaders. He really didn't seem to know anything about well.... anything.

Of course he's at a disadvantage. He's barely human.

2. Thanks. We need to remind the critics of this.
I remember seeing him interviewed on TV, and he could not name any foreign leaders. Same theme as this article.

I wish someone would replay that interview. (Fat chance, huh)?

4. He needs Cheney for the same reason he did 4 years ago
Bush has no experience, no gravitas and is generally a lightweight.
