"There's Something about Howard Dean!" Is he Genuine? MSNBC where
Dean goes against Tweety...brought that thought into my mind...there's "something" about Dean...What is it?

He has that great smile...and zingers who go to the heart of the Bush "Terra Alerts" ..but there's something beyond that..

What is it????

1. He tells the truth
He has a bright inquiring mind, and he agrees with me.

4. Truth!
I love this guy, and always will. He is intense, perhaps too intense for some people, but you can take what he says and find out that it's true. He's an honest and introspective human being, and that is a rare thing in politics.

5. He has it all...
Charisma, passion and an intellect. He gets fired up (which actually hurt him), something I admire and gosh darn it, he is just so damn cute.

6. He's direct and to the point
Sometimes to the point of bluntness. You expect soft edges in order to make his message palatable to everyone, but you just get the truth from him. He's the best. :loveya:

7. Blog has all the criticisms of Dean up now....and you can comment.
I like this. Leave your comment.

SNIP..."Top Congressional Democrats were also left wondering at the timing of the announcement—it comes on the coattails of the Democratic National Convention and close enough to quell any surge in John Kerry's post-DNC poll ratings. But it's not only Democrats who are questioning the timing:

One top GOP operative, who works closely with Bush's political team, said the White House appeared to overplay its hand, and voters may smell politics behind the warning. A senior U.S. intelligence official said there is no doubt that the United States is in constant danger, but he was concerned enough about the timing of the announcement to ask colleagues in a weekend meeting, "Why? Why now? Why are we raising alarms about this now?"
What's your take on the recent controversy surrounding Governor Dean's statement on CNN? Is the timing of these warnings related to political strategy? When the threat drops from orange to yellow, do you feel any safer?...."

8. He's too clumsy to do the Two-Step Shuffle
..and I mean that as a compliment. Most of the rest of our beloved Democrats fear to say Bush is a liar on any front. So when interviewed they hem and haw and avoid and say that Bush is a nice guy or some other mundane swill. Howard called it like it was with Wolfe about this terror alert. By the next morning I saw on CNBC (the finaancial network) that the anchor was drilling Sec. Snowe saying that insiders in these fiancial institutions under threat told her these were old threats from 2-3 years ago. Of course the media has reported that very quietly and muffled over the last 24 hours. It should be banner headlines: Bush LIES AGAIN!!! They owe Howard an apology. Don't hold your breath or you will turn the color of a Dem State on election night. Howard is the type of guy they want to put a hit on---and every media whore has been told to destroy him. They did pretty good at that before, but darn, Howard just arose from the ashes and bit them in the butt again.

9. He's not afraid to be rather confrontational...
...even a little dickish when it comes to defense of the truth. And that's why I supported him in the primaries :) He's also pretty good about changing his mind when he's wrong, being able to admit mistakes, you know, "real person" type things. He doesn't watch cable, has little use for the pundocrity.

13. He's very honest and to the point
Dean told (tells) the truth and some Americans don't like the truth. That's why he didn't have national appeal.

His outspokenness was mistaken for being too liberal.

I say to everyone out there that doesn't like the truth--

Stop living on fantasy island.

Dean is a genius!

14. I thought it was funny
that Tweety needed three people in the next segment to respond to Dean (and also funny that he wouldn't have Dean participate in the next segment to respond to statements).

15. Howard Dean is a patriot.
Look at his background. Study where he has been and where he came from.

Some have compared him to Thomas Paine. I agree with that comparison.

16. He seems to be the "annointed voice of the Left" with Kerry's approval...
so does this mean he's taken the "mantle" for the folks who know GORE WON IN 2000?

Or, is he just speaking out on his own..

He really has a great PRESENCE...but that's just My Humble Opinion (JMHO) here...
