How to judge poll numbers
This is a good calculator. You just plug in the figures for Bush and Kerry and the size of the sample:

2. Good but Not Over till Suprises and November are Past
Good link. Inject some reality into poll interpretation. Like it or not, mathematics rules the universe.

The only poll that counts is November.

Until then, any perceived lead could change with an August, September, or October Surprise.
