3. I think
Kerry's deal was indoors with limited capacity, and Bush was outdoors, so I'm not sure if attendance is a good metric.

6. Bush had a big outdoor rally
Kerry was conducting an economic summit with local leaders.

Apples and oranges.

7. Kerry didn't have a rally, it was an economy summit with small biz owners.
Bush held a rally.

Kerry may have a rally there in the next few weeks.

8. I know that Kerry's event lasted over 2 hours
and Chimpy was in for a quick photo op.

Kerry met with economic leaders, speaking about real issues to real people.

Joe Trippi is on Hardball right now -- he says that Bush intends to follow Kerry all over the country so that Kerry won't get the upper hand.

9. Kerry's people were stupid to allow Bush to have a bigger crowd
This was bound to be a big national news item, probably the top story of the day.

They should have scheduled a rally to go along with his visit.

In the news it will now look like Bush had a huge crowd and Kerry had 200 people.

Bad strategic move from the Kerry campaign.
