Kerry opposes media consolidation

Isn't this what Dean said back in 2003? You know, that little quip that allegedly triggered a national conspiracy against him? If Kerry means this, then I'm very proud of him. Having to refute erroneous claims that he has no backbone really gets me tired.

1. Media consolidation has become my number one concern

The fact that Viacom even THOUGHT about buying Disney (which means that CBS & ABC would be owned by the same person (among other things)) sums up the problem. The more and more concentrated media gets, the less and less different perspectives are allowed. Government controlling all the media is better then a corporation owning all the media. You can vote the government out. You have to rely on the government to do something to break up the media.

This is why most media outlets stopped covering Iraq, and why CNN is whoring full time for the Busheviks now.

This separates Kerry from corporate whore Clinton, and this is why I would vote for Kerry but not Clinton again if he could run after he screwed us.
