Electoral Vote question - we only have to get ONE more EV
than the other side, right? Just checking. Someone asked me that, and I said yes, then I started thinking ...well, actually, I'm not sure. Does anyone know for sure?

3. possible 269-269 tied scenario
Kerry takes all the Gore states plus NH and WV. Bush takes all the rest. Result = 269-269 tie throwing it into the House of Representatives to select the President.

4. Have to get 270 to win
Else it goes to the House.

But who cares, I want a landslide, I want Bush utterly humiliated and broken and defeated and crying like a baby on Nov. 3rd.

6. Yes, a landslide!
I am (temporarily) in TX. Though I live in a Dem area (highly Hispanic), I know the state usually goes "red" (republican).

It will be SO SWEEEEEET to see TX "go blue" this year.

Kerry should target TX , if at all possible.
Who cares if this is Bush's adopted "home"?

This state is HUGE!
We don't all think alike, and dubya better not count on TX this year.
;)

Kerry would be better off focussing his advertising on the moon than Texas.
