OMFG!! My partner's parents are voting Kerry!! (Indiana)
They have never voted for a Democrat. EVER in their 75 years.
I almost dropped over.
Their reasons:
- the economy
- outsourcing of jobs in their area
- negative campaigning.

4. Outstanding!!
I have helped change 3 repubs in Indiana minds this year so far. It is not too hard when W keeps screwing up.

2. That's great!
My Dad has never voted for Democrats either and found out how to get
himself an absentee ballot so he can vote for Kerry. Never thought I'd see the day!! His two reasons were: Rumsfeld and Cheney :bounce:

3. I am so happy for you
I come from a long line of proud Democrats, so I really am happy that you finally get to feel that joy in knowing that your parents are on the same page as you. YAY! :grouphug:

5. I've heard similar stories.
There are some right-wingers in my area that are just fed up with Bush and they basically say, "Kerry could be president.". Not a ringing endorsement for Kerry, but damning for Bush.

6. Good news, only two states are more repug than Indiana
All Kerry needs is a few hundred thousand more voters to change their minds to win the Hoosier State.

8. I think most of us can name at least one
republican in our circle who will be voting for Kerry this year. That is why I don't believe the polls. And the republican I know who is switching, is so nervous of what his friends might think, that he has said, if polled, he would lie and say he was voting for Bush. I don't think he is unique.
