1. See, this is what the map will look like on election day, Jack.

2. Not sure about that.
In the past it has always been the incumbent is represented by the color Blue. I don't know if that will continue to be the case this year. People are content with the color scheme the way it currently is.

5. Everywhere I've seen has Dems as BLUE and Reps as RED.
Now that the media has taken to calling them BLUE and RED states, respectively, I think those are the permanent colors.

7. It seems so backwards to me
In Canada, Conservatives are blue, Liberals are red and NDP are orange. (I know you don't have an orange equivalent.)

8. I'm glad we have the colors we do in the US for this.
There are already enough people that compare liberals to communists without their official election map color being RED. Can you imagine the annoying ads they would run, with the whole map turning red, and then a little hammer and sickle appearing in the corner?

10. but the red also helps republicans
because the red stands out a lot more than blue. this makes the map look even more republican to them with all those large red areas. even though the smaller blue areas have a lot more people living there than do the large red areas with very few people.

9. i do hope so

3. Chris & Jack
There are a zillion pictures of these two together. Methinks Mr. Heinz is getting a sudden urge for fatherhood.

6. hah to think Chris actually emailed me
I am still shocked by that honest, and to consider the fact I wasnt a full supporter of his stepdad at the time. That picture is very cute and hes a good looking guy, I can see why people find him attractive though his stepsisters and the kid he is with, his oldest sister(Cate) are my types heh.
