Kerry's Lead Over Bush Widens in New Hampshire, Florida Polls

In New Hampshire, 49 percent of likely voters surveyed Aug. 3- 5 said they would vote for Kerry if the election were held today, while 42 percent said they would vote for Bush, the poll found. In Florida, Kerry led 50 percent to 43 percent among likely voters surveyed Aug. 3-5.

A separate poll released yesterday also found Kerry with a 13 percentage point lead over Bush in New Jersey. Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, found Kerry leading Bush by 49 to 36 percent in another state considered a battleground in the Nov. 2 elections.

I don't think so. Gore won by double digits there in 2000.

for them to steal it. A two percent win would be enough to prevent that.
