Theory: if Bush attacks in Athens, it's a 'win win' for his terror team...
If Bush attacks US athletes during the Olympics, he cannot be 'blamed' for not keeping the US safe, as it is not US security, per se. His motive? The normal burst of jingoism fomented by the Olympics would increase a hundred-fold, and the surge in patriotism would boost the Idiot Usurper's position in the polls.

Hey, don't jump on me for this 'out there' theory... after all, who would have ever dreamed that Bush would just sit and read a story about a pet goat AFTER he 'found out' the US was under attack?

Bush's actions in reality are *far more bizarre* to contemplate than any conceivable 'conspiracy' theory.

2. he didn't read
the story about the pet goat -- that attributes too much intellect to him -- it was read to him just like all the other boys and girls. He didn't want to leave because the seven year old next to him had given him the news that mil and cookies would be served next - to be followed by a nap time and recess.

Yes, the cocaine and beer would soon follow on Air Force One, so there was a *lot* for Bush to look forward to on that day.

3. Either that, or..
It could be argued that the Chimp's actions in the past few years have made us more hated than ever, and thus more likely to be attacked overseas. Note that there were fewer requests for our athletes to "tone down" their showings of American pride in the Olympics during Clinton's term, or during Bush I's term..
